Kiwi Smoothie

Holy Heat Wave! This extra hot weather lately has us craving everything cold and dreamy, so a smoothie is on the menu! It's always exciting to see fruit in the box and to have kiwis this week was something special. I don't know about you, but I usually just cut the kiwi in half, and scoop out the middle with a spoon, but adding it to a smoothie was also a delicious choice. I love the inside of the kiwi and the little black seeds are still visible in the smoothie too!

From the box, I used our orange, mango, and kiwi to make this fruity smoothie! If your mango isn't quite ripe yet, your smoothie might be a little tart, you can add a drizzle of honey if you'd like it sweeter. I peeled and froze all the fruit the night before, but if you don't have time to freeze, simply add ice. Hope this recipe beats the heat at your house! Kiwi Smoothie Serves 4

Ingredients 3 Perfectly Imperfect kiwis, peeled and cut in half 1 Perfectly Imperfect mango, peeled and cut into chunks 1 Perfectly Imperfect orange, peeled and cut into chunks 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or skim milk 1 cup water

Directions 1. Freeze cut fruit overnight, if you don't have time to freeze, add 2 cups ice to recipe. 2. Add all ingredients to blender, and blend until the texture is smooth and creamy.

3. Divide smoothie among two large glasses, or four smaller glasses and enjoy!

We love to see your creations, so keep them coming! You can tag us on instagram, @perfectlyimperfectproduce with your photos. We can't wait to see what you come up with next! Have a great weekend, and cheers!
