Fresh Cranberry Smoothie

Looking for a festive and healthy way to start off the holiday before indulging and splurging? This Cranberry Smoothie will energize you for a full day of cooking and family time. Or its a great way to use up any cranberries leftover from your PIP holiday feast box. You can freeze them for up to a year or use them fresh in your morning smoothie! After savoring all of our favorite Thanksgiving dishes, this smoothie is perfect for breakfast the next day. It’s light and refreshing, loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C, and potassium, and the most festive shade of red!

Cranberries are naturally very tart. Blending them with a frozen PIP banana and a fresh PIP orange adds natural sweetness, but feel free to drizzle in a bit of maple syrup if the smoothie is too tart for your taste. Add in your favorite smoothie mix-ins, like ground flaxseed, chia seeds, avocado, nut or seed butter, protein powder or collagen, or greens, just before blending.
